OK so on the eve of the Met I’m still up late after watching AUSTRALIA, directed, produced and written by Baz Luhrmann. Starring Nicole Kidman & Hugh Jackman I thought the movie was great. Can’t understand what Nicole Kidman was going on about when she said in an interview that she apparently hated her performance. It was in my mind perfectly acceptable, I mean it was not Oscar worthy but totally a good watch. Very much in the vein of “Pearl Harbour” but I love a saga....
I was not intending on attending the Met this year but following an invite from Nashua Cape Town I’m getting quite excited. We will be in the J & B tent and I’m looking forward to seeing loads of old friends. Heard the JHB crew might be pulling in...
