US stars visit SA in support of The Diamond Empowerment Fund

Kim & Khloe Kardashian, along with NFL football stars Reggie Bush and Ray Crockett are heading for South Africa. The US stars are coming to SA in support of The Diamond Empowerment Fund which was started by the Godfather of Hip-Hop Russell Simmons. The organisation supports CIDA City Campus, one of the only tertiary education institutions to offer free education to those not in a position to afford it. While in Africa they will also visit Botswana. It’s really refreshing to find celebs who want to make a difference in Africa and who are willing to give up their time to do so. South African supermodel Nicola Breytenbach was recently appointed by the DEF as South Africa's first African Angel. The Angels are selected for their compassion, commitment to D.E.F.’s mission, and their ability to leverage their influence, contacts and celebrity to raise awareness and funds in support of the organization’s vision to help Africans help Africa though education that empowers and provides tangible skills to help build lives. Unfortunately Nicola was not able to take part in this trip as she is expecting the birth of her first child this week in New York. Please visit: http://www.diamondempowerment.org for more info on how you can support this worthy cause. We wish Nicola good luck.
